The Mental Health Ombudsman Program provides services throughout Wyoming to individuals with mental illness and their families, professionals, and other people advocating on behalf of individuals with a mental illness.
HOW CAN THE PROGRAM HELP YOU?
Issues addressed by the program vary from access to mental health services, patient rights, prescription drug assistance, emergency detention cost, housing, transportation, advance directives, financial need, discrimination, and more.
The five primary services provided by the Mental Health Ombudsman Program includes: coaching and information; referral; mediation/informal assistance; investigation; and identification and advocacy for system-wide trends or gaps in services.
