Substance Abuse and Mental Health Ombudsman Program: Get the support you need.

Do you need help accessing available resources, addressing concerns about substance abuse and mental health services, or knowing your rights?  Our Ombudsman program can help. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for persons in need of substance abuse and/or mental health services in Wyoming.

An advocate seeks to ensure that people are able to speak out, to express their views and defend their rights.  Advocacy is a process of supporting and empowering people to:

  • express their viewpoints and concerns
  • access information, resources and services
  • explore options and choices
  • promote and defend their rights
